NVQ A1 Awards

This is the basic award in order to become qualified in the assessment and delivery of NVQs in the workplace for subjects that you are occupationally competent in. Ideally you will already hold a relevant qualification that demonstrates your understanding of the subject you are due to assess. This award is normally delivered in the workplace.

• Judging evidence against agreed standards to make assessment decisions
• Giving candidates feedback and support on your assessment decisions
• Contributing to the internal quality assurance process.
